Our commitment to safety

During this time of uncertainty due to the Coronavirus pandemic, your safety and the one of our staff is our top priority.

We are closely monitoring the most up to date reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization and we are taking the necessary measures for the safety and wellness of all our staff and our guests.

If you are staying with us in the future, these are some of the guidelines we are strictly following:

  • We have placed hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel.
  • We have enhanced the sanitizing of all common areas and frequent touch points. This includes but is not limited to elevator call buttons, light switches, door handles, front desk, among others.
  • We are keeping disinfecting wipes, hand-sanitizer, and tissues easily accessible for staff and guests.
  • We have placed markers in the floor to maintain the 6ft distance between guests in high traffic areas.
  • We have placed additional trash containers for face masks and other personal protective equipment near exits and entrances of common areas. Housekeeping staff is wearing gloves and masks when cleaning guest rooms and handling trash.
  • We have modified some customer service standards and procedures to minimize contact with frequently touched surfaces and direct contact between staff members and guests.
  • Elevator capacity has been reduced to a maximum of 4 guests per lift.
  • We have eliminated the use of our public water fountains.
  • We are providing single use disposable menus or QR codes so guests can read the menu on their phone.
  • Plexiglass has been placed in the front desk area and will be added to restaurant tables and bar as well (coming soon)
  • Temperatures of all associates are being taken on a daily basis and records are kept for reference. Anyone with a temperature above 99.5 is sent home immediately and proper protocol is followed directly with HR.
We also require that our guests follow the following guidelines while staying with us.

  • Guests must maintain social distancing between other groups/guests and wear masks or cloth face coverings outside of their hotel room.
  • Guests must not gather in any area of the hotel in groups larger than 10 and must follow CDC’s social distancing guidelines.
  • Guests must follow posted guidelines for social distancing and healthy habits.
Finally, to give you more peace of mind, if you need to cancel your travel plans or have to reschedule your stay, we have temporarily modified our cancellation policies to make them more flexible, allowing you to be worry free about your hotel visit. Simply contact us at least 24 hours prior to your arrival at miami@ebhotels.com to cancel or reschedule your stay.
